It's hard to resist the allure of the sleek lines of a modern jet, or the nostalgic feel of an old fabric covered biplane. The sun gleams in unexpected ways off their compound curves, and they can speak of either menace or peace just in the way they are positioned. An airplane is one of the few subjects you can paint from any angle because when in their element, they exist in a truly three dimensional space. Aircraft are a challenge. Get the shape wrong and the "rivet counters" will lambast you. Still, for me, they are irresistable.Paintings on Commission
I create paintings on commission, such as your personal airplane, a favorite boat, ship, or train, or your beloved hot rod. I can even resurrect historical scenes that were never captured on film (such as my painting Hit My Smoke), or create new scenes from your imagination.
